“Inside of you there are infinite beings…”
Yesterday, I experienced a spontaneous Soul Retrieval for myself. This is always a nice treat, albeit it usually painful and difficult, as I often provide this service for those I work with, but don’t generally intentionally take time to give this gift of reunion to myself.
The full moon energies yesterday must have been assisting as the exoteric level showed us the full moon in Sagittarius, meaning we were likely to go traveling and exploring in openness, and the esoteric showed us the full moon in Scorpio, meaning we were going to need to take our objectivity to face some deep stinging pain within.
The aspect of me I retrieved was me in a glut of self harm and self hatred, at a point where I nearly gave up completely the aspects of myself that came here to help, to grow, to heal, to open hearts and souls to the truth of our beauty and ability… instead, I embraced what felt like the truth: that I was worthless, that everything was hopeless, and that there was no point in trying.
I hurt myself deeply with hammers, cutting implements, and more. I burned myself and starved myself and would not partake in anything that didn’t reflect darkness back at me, because that’s all I could see inside.
I went back to that time and held myself and told her all the things that were actually true, instead. I held her hand, even as she cut herself and struck herself and I never stopped whispering the truth into her heart and reminding her of how beautiful she really was….and is.
It released a whole heaping of that stinging pain that I created for myself and the objectivity served me to remain present even through the reliving of those wounds. The travels complete, I returned to now, more whole than ever, more healed than ever, more aware of my own self worth than ever.
